Highly versatile and in-demand as a live act,
Mindy Meng Wang 王萌& Tim Shiel have played
many shows across Australia, China and the UK.
In Australia the duo have performed at festivals including
WOMADelaide, Strawberry Fields, Melbourne International Jazz Festival,
Melbourne Fashion Week and venues including MONA Museum,
the National Gallery of Victoria, the Corner Hotel and Phoenix Central Park.
They have supported or played alongside artists including
Kimbra, Glass Beams and The Comet is Coming.
They have performed at the The Great Escape showcase festival in the UK,
and in 2025 toured China for the first time with shows in Chongqing,
Lanzhou & Chengdu including an in-store performance at Streaming Records.
Mindy and Tim also have previous experience individually across many
acclaimed creative projects, with Mindy performing with artists including
Gorillaz, Regurgitator, Paul Grabowsky and Sui Zhen, and Tim performing
hundreds of shows as a core member of Gotye’s touring band, including Coachella,
Saturday Night Live, the Hammersmith Apollo & the Sydney Opera House.
